Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundations for development projects worth more than Rs 1 billion in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on Sunday.

Modi will also reveal the 63-foot-tall Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay statue, in addition to pointing out the Kashi Mahalal Express, which will create a link between Varanasi, Ujjain and Omkareshwar.

In a statement issued by the Press Information Bureau (GDP), PM Modi, after arriving in Varanasi, will participate first in the closing ceremony of the centenary celebrations of Shri Vishwardaya Gurukul and will also release the translated version of Shri Siddhanth Shikhamani Granth in 19 languages.

Modi will also present the 63-foot-tall Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay statue in Chandauli.

More than 200 artisans were involved in the construction of this statue for more than a year. PM Modi will also deliver a speech after unveiling the statue.

Modi will inaugurate a super specialized 430-bed hospital and a 74-bed psychiatric hospital at the Hindu Benaras University (BHU).

The Kashi Mahakal Express of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will be signaled by PM Modi through a video link that will be the first private night travel train in the country.

This train will connect Varanasi with two other important pilgrim centers: Ujjain and Omkareshwar.

Before returning to Delhi, Prime Minister Modi will also open the exhibition & # 39; Kashi Ek, Roop Anek & # 39; in Deen Dayal Hastkala Sankul, where you will also interact with buyers and artisans from different countries.

According to information received from the administration of Varanasi, PM Modi will arrive around 10 am on Sunday and will stay for almost six hours.

PM Modi will open more than 30 projects and lay the groundwork for at least 14 projects during its visit on Sunday.

In order to review the preparations before the visit of Prime Minister Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath will arrive in Varanasi on Saturday night and will visit the commercial facilities center to meet with officials.
