Google treatment of the “Read more” buttons Is the content of some sites the same as articles without hidden text? The quick answer is no. I, Ali Kashafi, today I want to explain the history of Google with JavaScript and CSS hidden in the production of content and SEO.

There are different types of hidden texts. But in this article I will not go into details about hidden texts of spam types, black texts on black wallpapers, white texts on white backgrounds or hidden keywords that we have many between the ages of 2 and 4 They were not for websites . . In fact, this article is about texts hidden by JavaScript and CSS, some of which also appear as folders on the pages of the site.

Nowadays it is very common for modern sites to hide part of an article using CSS and JavaScript, and when a site visitor performs operations such as clicking or moving the mouse, hidden sections are shown. It may also be that a customer of the site has clicked on a specific product that will then appear in the product description or the word “read more” for an article. In fact, this is a problem with Google’s ranking, SEO and content generation, and you will never see these problems with current methods. Because when you use SEO rendering and tracking tools, such as MOZ, Aherf and Majestic, you will not find fault with this process. But the important point is how to track and index two identical items in this mode, one with more buttons and the other without buttons. With more and hidden text, it won’t be the same at all.

In the image above I have provided an example of content hidden by JavaScript and CSS. In case A, you look at the first paragraph of an article that is carefully placed on the home page of a website. In case B, the site developer used the “Read more” button. This button is compatible with JavaScript and CSS. Google tracks Z status better and gives you more SEO.

Many amateur sites use these hidden text buttons to generate their content.

His reason for doing this is to involve the reader more with his articles. Or, in some cases, counting the clicks of certain products or items. This is mainly done on these sites when there is a lot of content on a page that leads the site to know how interesting and read certain content has been.

In the previous example, it is true that Google does not intend to investigate what happened after clicking on the “Read more” button. Google is reviewing everything that appears. What happens next for both articles (that is, opening the entire article on the second page) is the same for both. (Assuming other parameters are constant, of course)

THE REMAINING PARAMETERS ARE AS FOLLOWS

Then both have the same domain and address, the same link and other things.

  • A is better than B because Z is more content in text production, which makes the link between text and keywords clearer. For this reason, Google is giving it a rating, which means it has a more explicit text.
  • Certainly, the hidden text has been completely ignored by Google. It doesn’t matter what code you use to hide the text. It must also be published loaded in CSS or JavaScript or HTML. Because all the text hidden in Google will have a low range. The importance of the classification difference can also be disguised as text.
  • In this sense, Google is very lonely. Because the search engines of Yahoo and Bing are not different from ours, for example, A and B, they have the same rank. Google is the only search engine that cares about these subtle differences. Punishment is very important for Google’s hidden text.
